What if all the streets were rivers? What would be different?

If all of the streets were rivers it would be not so different. The only thing that would change is the way we go to places. Instead of cars we would use motor boats. Instead of buses there would be boats. We would also use rowing boats to replace bikes. and instead of walking you would have to swim, and if you dont know how to swim, your screwed. Alot would be different if the streets would be rivers. The stores would have to be on some type of floating thingy. But it would be something different. It would be awsome. You could probably have a dolphin as a pet or even a shark! That'll be cool.
